We're Going to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...

D took most of the animal photos himself. He really enjoyed this ostrich.

Wow! He fits in an ostrich egg. Ha! They did get to touch a real hollow one though.

I was able to go with my 2nd grader to the zoo, the day of K's graduation. Luckily, we made it back for me to see the whole graduation. Again, going with the theme of the crazy time of year. The zoo was fantastic, even though I did get a blister from great sneakers. There was so much walking and my shirt was soaking wet, but the kids really did not complain and did some fast walking when my poor judgement made us late to meet the group.
